This 2.5-hour morning class includes an edible plant ID walk that starts at a farmhouse in Loveland, CO and explores edible shoots, greens, and roots (and mushrooms if we’re lucky) along a tree-lined, riparian creek and disturbed, weedy areas like fields and irrigation ditches that have plants you might find in our local urban areas. Then we will forage one or more wild ingredients, and prepare a simple wild food dish to taste. If time, we may check out the semi-desert foothill zone on the property. Waterproof boots are a good idea as it can be muddy. Masks are required. Thank you!
