Description
This 6-hour hands-on class will take place in the foothills above Littleton, Colorado, at a gorgeous private camping retreat with outdoor kitchen. We will learn the local plants, then forage and process a selection of wild plants to make one or more dishes to sample. This special habitat includes a forest walk among scrub oaks and chokecherries, and even a small population of osha we can observe. A good variety of edible weeds dominate the sunny areas. If you came to the August class last year, you might want to see what’s happening there in June!
