Description
What wild foods grow in a mountain forest in spring? In this class, we’ll hike a short section of the Meadow Creek/Lily Pad Lakes trail in Frisco, Colorado, learning edible native plants common to high country aspen/conifer forests and sagebrush meadows, as well as some non-natives. The plants are likely to be flourishing, and if so, we’ll forage some wild vegetables and cook them up back at the trailhead. I am super excited to be able to offer this class for the first time this year, with permission from the USFS. Hosted by WFG ($90)
