Description
In this all-day class, we’ll hike Vail Pass looking for mushrooms and berries to forage, and learning high-elevation plants. Mushrooms can be hit or miss, but the class will take place regardless–fungi or no fungi. Other activities may include: learning botanical terms, plant ID by group, how to use a flora, and/or something hands-on from my backpack. If our hunt is successful, we’ll cook some mushrooms up back at the trailhead. I am super excited to offer this class for the first time this year, with permission from the USFS. Hosted by WFG ($130)
