Description
What plants grow by a foothills creek in August? Join me at Lair o’ the Bear park in Idledale, Colorado for a plant walk in this lush setting. We’ll learn local edible and medicinal plants, and discuss safety, sustainability, foraging tips, and regulations. I’ll have signs with the plant names so you can use your camera to take notes. Please note: We will not be tasting or foraging, in keeping with the park’s regulations–but I will probably bring a few things in my backpack for you to taste.
