Healthy & Wild at WFG Learn: This is an extended health series I am considering. As you may know I am a cancer survivor, now 4 years into a health transformation that has included eating whole food plant-based, intermittent fasting, meditation, exercise, and more. I am now 25 pounds lighter and completely cured of my lifelong asthma! Incredible health transformations have been reported for many diseases of Western civilization, like heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, autoimmune issues, and cancer. Adopting health strategies early can also be preventative. The series would start with an in-depth overview of the research and strategies, and then move on to cooking demos, recipes, and how to incorporate wild foods in our diets in a healthy way—for example, how to replace old standbys like dandelion fritters, sugar syrups, and ice cream with healthier alternatives. I’m super curious if this interests anyone.
Healthy & Wild LIVE: I’m also considering offering some “healthy wild weekends” at a retreat in Colorado’s Front Range, featuring similar content along with hands-on foraging and food prep, plant-based meals, yoga, meditation, and more. There are some farmhouse rooms to be rented or you can camp. Local friends, what do you think? Thanks!
