Locals Plant Walk August 28

The Locals Plant Walk series are quick and affordable 1.5-hour neighborhood tours of edible plants in the town of Fairplay. We’ll look at edible native, non-native, and landscaping plants, with routes varying from session to session in order to study a variety of plants, habitats, and growth stages. We’ll cover safety and sustainable foraging practices as always, and discuss food preparations for the plants we study.

  • LOCATION: Fairplay, Colorado
  • COST: $20/person. I am open to trading for meat (chicken, pork, beef, game), topsoil (!), compost, or garden vegetables in lieu of full or partial payment.
  • DATE: Wednesday, August 28
  • TIME: 4:00 – 5:30 pm

If you are interested in attending, please fill out and submit the comment form below. I will respond in the order these are received, and send a payment link if spots are available. Spaces are confirmed upon payment.
