Private classes are a great way to get a personalized learning experience tailored specifically to your interests. Arrange a private class for your family and friends, or book a session for a unique teambuilding activity.
Topics: Maybe you want to learn the plants on your property through a guided hike? Or add a hands-on component where you forage, prepare food, and sample what you made? If you like, we can make dandelion coffee, a mustard condiment from wild seeds, salted nuts from wild-harvested pinyons, or acorn pancakes–to name just a few. I am happy to design an experience that fits your interests and needs.
Colorado Locations: Location options include my place in Fairplay (in the mountains); private property to which you have access; or a rented site (outdoors for walks, indoors for presentations/food-prep only).
Pricing: Private classes are $200/hour plus $50/hour drive time to & from Fairplay. There is no travel fee if you come to Fairplay. Site fees typically apply for rented locations. Please plan for a 2-hour minimum for plant walks, 2.5 hours if including food prep. Pricing is the same for groups up to 6 people, with add-on fees for bigger groups.
