Description
Did you know that wild mustards grow all around us? In this class we will learn about the wild world of edible mustards, then process the seeds of a common local weed, field pennycress (Thlaspi arvense), into a batch of honey mustard to sample. We will also experiment with other mustard seeds, both wild and cultivated, to understand how mustards are made, and to sample the variety of wild mustard seeds out there. If there’s time left, we’ll do a plant walk! Hosted by WFG. ($60)
