Description

In this class for families, parents and children will learn the basics on how to identify an edible currant or gooseberry (genus Ribes). We will learn a few botanical terms and a simple 3-step identification process. We will then apply our learning in the field by examining one or more species. After that we’ll pick berries and sample them in a healthy fruit salad while we talk about safety and review what we learned.
