Edible Plant Walks: May 2025 Loveland Colorado

March 20, 2025 Erica M. Davis Leave a Comment

Looking to jump-start your foraging hobby? Or expand your knowledge of what plants are edible? In this 2-hour walk in the Loveland / Fort Collins area of Colorado, we will learn edible plants that grow in disturbed settings (weeds!) as well as native plants common to creek sides and high prairies. The walk takes place on a beautiful ranch under towering stone buttresses, where we might see miniature ponies too. There will be opportunities for field tasting, and a discussion of safety and sustainability practices. I will have signs with the plant names if you would like to use your camera to take notes. This is one of the best spots for a plant walk, so green and lovely in spring. Join us!
